Walking/ Reading Library, as part of LAST Collective Residency: Low Line, Coburg
As a part of LAST Collective’s residency at the Coburg train station, I was invited to perform a three hour durational piece. For three hours I walked around the perimeter of the train station reading aloud from a selection of texts routinely, stopping to set up my mobile library. Viewers were invited to also participate in the reading, select an alternative text or be read to. Some of the texts included Barthes’ A Lover’s Discourse: Fragments, Maggie Nelson’s The Argonauts, Elizabeth Newman’s Texts, Moyra Davey’s Index Cards, and Gertrude Stein’s Food.
